Today/Where Are They Now
Extremely premature babies can be in the hospital for four or more months. The NICView cameras allow family members who can’t visit to begin bonding with their baby before they are ready to come home. They also provide an added layer of reassurance to parents who need to leave the bedside to go to work or care for other family members. Families can have peace that their tiny infant is well cared for while they step away from the hospital. The donor-funded investment in these specialized cameras are a wonderful example of philanthropy serving the holistic needs of our patients.
