The Ascension Saint Thomas Health Foundation supports the mission of Ascension Saint Thomas – to provide spiritually centered, holistic care that sustains and improves the health of our communities.

Rooted in Healing is an opportunity to memorialize or honor a loved one while improving hope and healing for those served by Ascension Saint Thomas.
Contributions to Rooted in Healing support the Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation’s Carrie Teaford Campus Beautification Fund providing resources to improve the public spaces that help create a welcoming and healing environment for patients and families. This fund is a direct extension of Ascension Saint Thomas’ mission to provide holistic, reverent care by creating surroundings that give comfort, aesthetic beauty and a visual expression of the love and attention we seek to offer anyone in our care.
Campaign Goals:
Donors who contribute $1,000 or more to Rooted in Healing will receive a personalized plaque placed on a tree located on the Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital campus of their choice. Each plaque may be inscribed with 42 characters including space and punctuation. Contributions may be made to Rooted in Healing by clicking the button below.
Is there someone who made a difference in your care at Ascension Saint Thomas? Honor your caregiver with a Guardian Angel Award.
Guardian Angel provides patients and their families the opportunity to honor an Ascension Saint Thomas Caregiver who made a difference during their visit to an Ascension Saint Thomas hospital or medical office by making charitable donation of $25 or more to the Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation. If you have been in one of our hospitals recently, you may have noticed some of the caregivers wearing Ascension Saint Thomas Guardian Angel lapel pins on their uniforms. These pins are given to Ascension Saint Thomas employees from those who matter most, patients like you.
Campaign Goals:
With a tax-deductible, charitable donation of $25 or more to an Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation, you can show your appreciation by recognizing a special caregiver as an Ascension Saint Thomas Guardian Angel. They will be awarded a personalized Guardian Angel Award certificate and a Guardian Angel lapel pin they will wear proudly for years to come. You may also include a personal note of appreciation that will be delivered along with the Guardian Angel Award.

Building on a legacy of more than 100 years, Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown is excited to shape the future of healthcare in our Nashville community. Enhancements to our Midtown campus will include $300 million in investment including a new, state-of-the-art surgery and critical care tower, modernization of the exterior of current buildings, a new entrance for the Hospital for Women, new Medical Office Building, new Spine Institute with specialized surgical suites, a new specialty hospital for inpatient rehabilitation, and expansions to our Cancer Center.
Associate Giving Campaign is an extension of our mission offering employees a way to support charitable programs funded by the Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation which improve the lives of those we serve.
Through the generosity of Associates who consistently support the annual Associate Giving Campaign, the Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation continues to be a vital resource, helping to provide access to care for everyone in our community and supporting our patients and employees when they need us most.

Annual gifts of all sizes are the sustaining dollars of our foundation. These gifts represent financial support from grateful patients, friends, and community supporters who value our mission. These annual donations fall into two distinct categories: 1) unrestricted giving, which supports the most immediate hospital and patient priorities and 2) restricted giving, which can be directed to a special interest of the donor. For those donors who chose to give at the $1,000 level or greater, we have a variety of annual recognition societies in which we honor your generous support.
Tribute gifts are an opportunity to support our mission while also paying tribute to someone you care about or wish to recognize.
